Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LeuClean platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including customers, providers, and workers.

2. Description of Service

LeuClean is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking cleaning services with verified cleaning professionals ("Providers" and "Workers"). LeuClean facilitates bookings and payments but is not itself a cleaning company. We do not employ the cleaners on our platform.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. TrustPass Verification

Providers and Workers must complete the LeuClean TrustPass verification process, which includes identity verification, selfie matching, address verification, and background checks. LeuClean reserves the right to reject or revoke verification at its sole discretion. Passing TrustPass verification does not constitute an employment relationship with LeuClean.

5. Identity Verification (KYC)

• Providers: All Providers must complete KYC verification (CAC certificate, director NIN, and passport photo) before withdrawing earnings from the platform. KYC verification is mandatory for fund withdrawal.
• Workers: All Workers must complete identity verification (NIN and passport photo) before withdrawing earnings. Workers whose verification is covered by their Provider ("provider_covered" status) are also eligible for withdrawal.
• Customers: KYC verification is optional for Customers but strongly recommended. Verified customers build greater trust with service providers and may receive priority service.
• Providers and Workers are advised to exercise caution when accepting work from unverified customers. The platform displays the verification status of all parties to help users make informed decisions.
• LeuClean assumes no liability for transactions conducted with unverified customers. Users engage with unverified parties at their own risk.
• LeuClean reserves the right to modify verification requirements at any time and to restrict platform features for users who do not meet updated verification standards.

6. Bookings and Payments

• Bookings are agreements between the Customer and the Provider/Worker. LeuClean is not a party to this agreement.
• Payment is held in escrow by LeuClean until the Customer marks a service as complete.
• Once a Customer approves a completed service, payment is released to the Provider and is non-refundable.
• LeuClean charges a platform service fee on each transaction, which will be disclosed at booking.
• Disputed payments will be reviewed by LeuClean support. Our decision is final.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel bookings with status "Quoted", "Pending", or "Confirmed" from their bookings page. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the scheduled time the cancellation is made. Providers and Workers may cancel a booking but doing so repeatedly may result in account suspension.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent the platform to arrange off-platform payments
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access
• Create multiple accounts or fake accounts
• Manipulate ratings or reviews

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Affiliate Program

Participation in the LeuClean Affiliate Program is subject to separate affiliate terms. Commissions are earned on qualifying referrals as defined in those terms. LeuClean reserves the right to modify or terminate the affiliate program at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software on the LeuClean platform are owned by or licensed to LeuClean. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. LeuClean does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers or Workers.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LeuClean shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Termination

LeuClean may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not affect any outstanding bookings or payment obligations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
